Affordable Theraputic Massage

Fran is a professional registered nurse (RN) with 40 years experience and a licensed massage therapist (LMT) for the past 15 years. Her last 16 years in Pittsburgh were spent doing physical rehabilitation nursing in which she became nationally certified (CRRN). Prior to moving to western New York, she did a year of home care as the director of clinical services for Kimberly Quality Home Care. Fran continued to expand her skills by working at Briody's Health Care Facility as the Evening Relief Supervisor for 2 years. Fran graduated with honors from WNY Institute of Massage. Because of her medical background, Fran has chosen to become certified in Medical/Orthopedic massage.

Working with pain management, muscle injuries and chronic conditions gives nursing observation, medical experience and people skills a great outlet. Fran uses a multi-disciplinary treatment approach by combining techniques in structural bodywork to isolate each individual situation. Upon graduation Fran was asked to join a previous teacher in her new office in Williamsville called "Deep Muscle and Massage Therapy." Also, following her interests in sports massage, Fran worked at Alessi Gym and Spa Facility on Delaware Ave, in Buffalo. The years of 2003 and 2004 Fran worked out of a seasonal office at the Wilson Harbor Shops and performed poolside chair massage. Affordable Therapeutic Massage is in her home office located in her new home on the Woods Campus @ Blairville located in the town of Lewiston, NY. See Contact page for address and map.
